With actress Usha Rajak joining director Parichhed Sen’s upcoming Nepali film Maharajadhiraj, the film’s main cast lineup is now complete.
On Monday, the production team confirmed Rajak’s role in one of the lead parts. Previously, popular actors such as Aryan Sigdel, Ramesh Upreti, Paul Shah, and Pushpa Khadka had already been finalized for the project. On the female side, actresses Barsha Raut and Barsha Siwakoti are also playing lead roles.
Maharajadhiraj aims to offer a unique flavor to audiences by blending talents from both veteran and emerging generations. Additional confirmed cast members include Jay Kishan Basnet, Gajit Bishwakarma, and Asha Paudel.
According to presenter Biraj Bisht, Usha Rajak’s addition completes the film’s main cast. He said, “We have brought in experienced and well-known faces. A few supporting roles are yet to be finalized. Our team is strong.”
Under the banner of Chhatreshwor Management Pvt. Ltd., the film is both written and directed by Sen. His previous directorial, Premganj, was critically acclaimed.
The producers of Maharajadhiraj are Topendra Bista, Chakrabahadur KC, and Ravi Khadka.
The film is scheduled for release across Nepal on the occasion of the upcoming Phulpati festival. The production team has announced that details regarding the shooting schedule and technical crew will be revealed soon.
