Model and actress Niti Shah has been signed as the lead actress in the upcoming inter-caste love story film ‘Jadau’. An agreement was signed between Niti and the producers on Saturday in Kathmandu.
The film, written by Kaji Limbu, had already confirmed Mukun Bhusal in a lead role. ‘Jadau’ is a joint production of Silver Screen Entertainment and Samishran Movies & Entertainment. Co-producers of the film include Ramaraja Subedi, Om Chemjong, Shanta Tamang, and Narayan Shastri.
Buddhi Majhi is handling production management, and filming is scheduled to begin in the first week of Bhadra (mid-August). With music by Babul Giri, the film will be shot in various locations across Dang and Pyuthan districts. Lachhuman Bhandari will manage the production in the Pyuthan region.
Bimala Bhandari, Managing Director of Silver Screen, stated that further details regarding the director, remaining cast, and technical crew will be announced in a few days.
