The first look poster of “36 Ko Aankda”, the new film from actress Rekha Thapa’s home production, has been unveiled.
The poster features Rekha Thapa and Pooja Sharma in lead roles. Rekha, portrayed as a police officer, is shown handcuffing Pooja, symbolizing control. While Rekha’s expression conveys the triumph of hard-fought victory, Pooja’s gaze hints that the clash between the two is far from over.
The poster presents a striking and unusual scene rarely depicted in Nepali cinema. At its core, the film appears to revolve around the conflict between two women—a theme possibly being explored for the first time in Nepali film history. This suggests that “36 Ko Aankda” will deliver a distinctive narrative.
Released just before the film goes on the floor, the poster has heightened audience anticipation. The on-screen confrontation between two leading ladies, each having carved a unique image in Nepali cinema, is expected to be a major attraction for viewers.
Directed by Sabir Shrestha, the film is set to begin shooting this coming Monday. The production team has yet to disclose details about the full cast and crew, with plans to reveal them after filming commences.
Rekha will be paired with the recently acclaimed actor Mahesh Tripathi, while Pooja will be seen opposite actor Pushpa Khadka.
