The posters of the upcoming film Baristha Balram, directed by Surendra Paudel and slated for release during Tihar’s Bhai Tika, have been officially unveiled. Two distinct posters were released, each highlighting different aspects of the story.

The first poster features the lead actors, Dayahang Rai and Bijay Baral, along with other cast members. While Dayahang and Bijay hold the central focus, the supporting actors are also visible. Dayahang is portrayed in a pensive mood, while Bijay appears intense and somewhat confrontational.

Actress Samriddhi Aryal, on the other hand, is seen smiling brightly. Together with the leads, five other characters appear on motorcycles, seemingly chasing someone. One motorcycle is ridden by Bijay himself, while another is driven by Pradeep Chaudhary in a Madhesi getup.

This poster successfully raises curiosity about the storyline, leaving audiences eager to know more.

The second poster focuses solely on Dayahang and Bijay. The two are depicted as rivals locked in a direct clash. The composition suggests a struggle for dominance—each determined to prove himself as the “senior.” The background shows a highway with tippers, hinting at possible involvement in the construction or contracting business.

Baristha Balram, currently in post-production, is scheduled for release on Kartik 6 (Bhai Tika). The film stars Dayahang Rai, Bijay Baral, Samriddhi Aryal, Pashupati Rai, Mao Tse Gurung, Bholaraj Sapkota, Rambabu Regmi, and Pradeep Kumar Chaudhary (PK), among others.

The story and editing are by director Paudel himself, while the screenplay is penned by Mahesh Dawadi. Produced under the banner of Brishabh Siddhi Entertainment in collaboration with Anvi Films, the film is backed by producers Ashish H. Tamang and Shriraj Karki.

Shot across various locations in Chitwan, the film explores a socially grounded narrative. Cinematography is handled by Man Krishna Maharjan, with Taranath Neupane serving as chief assistant director. The music is composed by Prashant Shivakoti, action direction by Samrat Basnet, and choreography by Pradeep Lama.

Distribution rights are secured by DCN in the Kathmandu Valley and by Kuber Cine Distribution outside the Valley.
