Song “Banga Banga” from the film Balidan released, Samir seen among indigenous community

 The much-anticipated Nepali film Balidan, set to release this coming Monday on the day of Phulpati, has unveiled its new song “Banga Banga.” The song features music by Sujan Chapagain, vocals by Sujan and Bhushan Khatri, and lyrics by Harka Saud.

The music video showcases an indigenous settlement deep within the forest, where actor Samir Bhatt performs dance and acting among the indigenous community. Choreographer Sunil Chhetri and the film’s director Santosh Sen are also seen in the video. Sen plays the role of the indigenous chief in the film.

Earlier, the Central Film Censor Board had granted Balidan a Parental Guidance (PG) certificate. Directed by Santosh Sen, the film features performances by Samir Bhatt, Saugat Malla, Arpan Thapa, Richa Sharma, Kavita Rai, Hemant Budhathoki, Prem Puri, among others.

According to the producers, the film has already secured around 250 shows, and the number could reach up to 300 depending on theater demand. With advance ticket sales underway, audience excitement appears to be high.

Produced under the banner of Asusen Film Production Pvt. Ltd., Balidan is produced by Pawan Bradford Bista with Prem Puri as the executive producer. Released during the festive occasion of Dashain, the film is expected to be a major attraction for family entertainment.
