The Nepali film Soltini, slated for release on Kartik 6 (Bhai Tika), has unveiled its new lyrical song titled “Naulakh Tara.” The song beautifully blends heartfelt lyrics, melodious vocals, and soulful music that reflect the emotional depth of the film’s storyline.

The song features vocals by Jhuma Limbu, Sunita Thegim, and Prashant Siwakoti. Lyrics, composition, and music direction are also by Siwakoti, while Debesh Rai has arranged the music.

The visuals and stills used in the lyrical video highlight the emotional journey of the film’s lead characters, portrayed by Prakash Saput and Pariksha Limbu, depicting the social and familial challenges faced by their love. The lyrical video effectively captures these emotional highs and lows, directly tying into the central theme of the film.

Directed by Arjun Subedi, Soltini stars Prakash Saput and Pariksha Limbu alongside Sundar Dhital, Sabbu Gurung, Sujan Khatriwada, Wilson Bikram Rai, Ravindra Jha, Prakash Ghimire, Prem Subba, and Kavita Ale, among others.

The film is executively produced by Harka Sampang—the mayor of Dharan—and his team under the banner “Harka Sampang Revolution and The Team.” Shot in scenic locations such as Ilam, Kanyam, Birtamod, Pathari, and Bhojpur, Soltini aims to raise a voice against caste-based discrimination, inhumanity, and the social barriers to love, according to director Subedi.
