The team of Aa Bata Ama has announced the release date and unveiled the first official poster, with the film set to release on Magh 16. The poster was revealed during the special occasion of Tihar’s Laxmi Puja.
The poster features Vipna Thapa, Pradeep Rawat, and Pal Shah in a joyful moment, reflecting the happiness of parents sharing in their child’s joy.
Set in a rural backdrop, the film focuses on the emotional bond between parents and their children. The tagline on the poster, “Ba Aamale Parishramle Ghar Banayunu Bhayo, Hami Le Rahar Ra Badhyatalai Passport Banayou,” reflects a story deeply rooted in the realities of a typical Nepali family.
According to the production team, the film aims to portray the theme of ‘home and a mother’s love’ up close for the audience.
Written and directed by Chandra Pant and presented by Arya Pant, the film stars Vipna Thapa, Pradeep Rawat, Pal Shah, Saigres Pokhrel, Simran Pant, Usha Upreti, Vishal Pahadi, Ravindra Jha, Gajit Bisht, Hemraj Adhikari (Khantya Khalas), and Dilip Ukheda, among others.
Producers include Omkar Pant, Krishna Prasad Subedi, Dhruv Nyaupane, Prakash Kunwar, and Kshitij Dhungana, with Karan Singh Rasaily as the executive producer.
Produced under the banner of Arya Entertainment, the film’s director of photography is Navaraj Upreti, and the music is composed by Koshish Kshetri, Babul Giri, and Thaneshwar Gautam.
The overseas distribution rights have garnered high demand. Himaru Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. has acquired the rights for Australia and New Zealand, while RR Films holds the distribution rights in Nepal. The film’s digital rights have been secured by OSR Digital.
