The trailer of “Jaari: 2 – Song of Chyabrung,” which is set to release on Kartik 21, has been unveiled.
The trailer presents Dayahang Rai as a Chyabrung player. From the visuals, it can be understood that Jaari 2 revolves around the conflict that arises between the couple after the birth of their daughter.
Along with Dayahang and Miruna, the storyline surrounding Bijay Baral’s marital circumstances also seems to add an intriguing layer to the film. His segment hints at a touch of dark humor in the narrative.
The three-minute and fifty-two-second-long trailer suggests that this sequel is even more thrilling and engaging. It appears that the film will provide a refreshing cinematic experience for audiences.
Written and directed by Upendra Subba, the film is produced by Rambabu Gurung, Madhu Mijar, and Jeevan Gurung.
The movie stars Dayahang Rai, Miruna Magar, and Bijay Baral in lead roles, alongside Buddhi Tamang, Richa Sharma, Pushkar Gurung, Prem Subba, Maotse Gurung, Manhang Lawati, Bishnu Moktan, Kamalmani Nepal, Anil Subba, Rekha Limbu, Bedana Rai, and Sirjana Ninglekhu.
Produced under the banners of Baansuri Films and Kabbadi Films, Jaari 2 is expected to be among the highest-grossing Nepali films of the year.
The first Jaari film, released in 2080 BS, was a blockbuster that grossed over NPR 17 crore at the Nepali box office. Since its announcement, Jaari 2 has been listed among the most anticipated films, with high expectations to match the commercial success of its predecessor.
