The second song of the debut-directed movie “Harsha” by Ekta Paudel, titled “Kutu Kutu Kasto Maya Lagyo Barilai,” was released on Friday.
The video features the film’s lead actors Khagendra Lamichhane and Varsha Raut in a romantic avatar. This is the first time actor Khagendra Lamichhane has been seen in a romantic role in a film.
The song’s video features choreography by Sunil Kshetri and has successfully generated excitement among audiences for the film. The song is composed by Elis Karki with vocals by Sanish Shrestha and Apsara Ghimire. Lyrics are by Neerkamal Khadka (Mamal), and arrangement, mixing, and mastering were done by Shailendra M. Pradhan (Babu).
Singer Sanish Shrestha, who gained fame from The Voice of Nepal Season 2, makes his entry into playback singing through this film. He believes this song will help establish him in the music industry.
Director Ekta Paudel is the niece of the late director Shiv Regmi. Paudel studied filmmaking at the New York Film Academy and holds a master’s in communication, management, and leadership. She has previously directed several short films.
The film also stars Nir Shah, Santosh Pant, Sharmila Mall, Maotse Gurung, Vishal Pahadi, Nima Pandey, Luniva Tuladhar, Anshu Maharjan, Renu Pradhan, Suwarn Thapa, Shrishti Maharjan, Sirjana Napit, Simon Wadi, along with the leads.
The cinematography is by Alok Shukla, music by Sameer, Himal, Basant Sapkota, and Elis Karki, editing by Lokesh Bajracharya, choreography by Sunil Kshetri and Director Paudel. The film is produced under Ashtalakshmi Productions and E-Prime Movies, with story by Director Paudel, producers Prashann Paudel and Bikash Paudel, executive producer Hikmat Chokhal, production manager Ishwor Ghimire, and chief assistant director Kuldeep Sharma.
