The Nepali film “Kina Lagscha Maya”, produced under the banner of S&S Production, is set to release globally, including in Nepal, on March 19 (Chaitra 6). The production team unveiled the film’s first look along with the official release date.
The first look features lead actors Sanjeet Bhandari, Jahnavi Basnet, Sedo Real, and Richa Thapa.
Directed by Kuber Tamang and produced by Sanjeet Bhandari and Monu Khadka, the film stars Sanjeet Bhandari, Jahnavi Basnet, Richa Thapa, Dhiren Shakya, Pavitra Saki (known as Miss Pabi), Hiubala Gautam, Sabin Bastola, Ravi Dangol, Gopal Dhakal, Rajendra Khadgi, Geeta Adhikari, Niroj Khulal, Samranta Thapa, Bheg Pahari, Binod Dhakal, Ramkaji Ghimire, Rabindra Khadka, Sunil Katuwal, Narayan Pradhan, Subash Gajurel, Ramesh Ghimire, Ishwar Dahal, Ramchandra Shrestha, Rupa Thapa, Neha Dev, Shree Swasthani Tamang, Anuja Bhattarai Ghimire, Aarti Budha, Ramji Lamsal, and Pragyan Khadka.
Child actors include Aradhya Rajyalakshmi B.C., Binayak Sunuwar, and Surit Pudasaini. Sedo Real, who has been active in music videos, will make his film debut.
The story concept was created by Sedo Real, with the screenplay and dialogues by Ramkaji Ghimire. Action direction is by Rajendra Khadgi, cinematography by Ramsharan Upreti, music by Pushkar Sunuwar and Rajendra Bajagai, choreography by Ramji Lamichhane, Nitin Waiba, and Abhi Wagle, editing by Tekendra Shah, and poster design by Rakesh Dahal.
Production controller is Arjun Prasad Pokhrel, with Ramsharan Koirala serving as chief assistant director.
The film explores themes of brotherly friendship, mutual responsibility, sacrifice, and post-marriage love. Built around family and social themes, the movie is expected to resonate strongly with audiences.
