The romantic track ‘Lajai Namani’ from the Nepali feature film ‘Lokanti’, produced under the banner of Krishan Films, has been officially released. The song was unveiled via OSR Digital’s official YouTube channel ahead of the film’s nationwide release on Friday, 26 Mangsir.
The song features the lead actors Kumar Nyaupane and Bimala Limbu, with vocals by Melina Rai and Narayan Thapa. The lyrics are penned by Shankar Adhikari, while the music is composed by Vikas Chaudhary.
Directed by Ranjit Rana, ‘Lokanti’ is based on a story written by Kaji Limbu and is presented as a full-fledged family drama. The film stars Asaraj Garach in the lead role. Shot in the natural locations of Kavre district, the film aims to portray emotional and social dimensions hidden within a family-oriented love story.
Produced by Santosh Nyaupane, the film also features actress and model Richa Thapa alongside Asaraj. Other key cast members include Bimala Limbu, Kumar Nyaupane, Vikas Adhikari, Daman Rupakheti, and Govinda Prabhat.
‘Lokanti’ marks the acting debut of Kumar Nyaupane and Vikas Adhikari.
The film includes music direction by Vikas Chaudhary, cinematography by Ronish Tamang Changba, makeup by Ashok Rokaya, and editing by Gautam Raj Khadka.
