The first look of the upcoming Nepali film ‘Dallele Entry Maryo’, slated for nationwide release on Chaitra 27, has been unveiled. The production team revealed the film’s initial poster on Monday.
The poster showcases lead actor Sagar Lamsal (Bale) in a solitary character pose, holding a cigarette between his fingers with a dazed expression. His half-asleep look while smoking hints at key traits of his character, suggesting the film might explore issues related to rising youth indulgence in harmful habits.
A major portion of the film was shot in Yangjakot, Kaski, while around 10 percent of the scenes were filmed in Gagalphedi, Kathmandu.
Directed by Raju Giri, the film features a screenplay and dialogue by Laxman Subedi, an experienced writer-director with more than half a dozen films to his credit.
Alongside Sagar Lamsal, the cast includes Roshni Khadka, Ramesh Budhathoki, Hemanta Budhathoki, Rabindra Jha, Kailash Rawat, Bishal Pahadi, Dhruva Koirala, Sabitra Chiluwal, Asha Paudel, Laxminath Timilsina, Osin Bhattarai, Mohankrishna Shrestha, Suchendra Pariyar, Ramhari Khadka, Ramesh Adhikari, Madhav Khanal, Sushma KC, and Navaraj Giri, among others. Director Raju Giri also appears in the film.
Child actors Kangana Giri, Ronish Khadka, and Kajal Giri are part of the cast.
The film’s team includes Binay Raj Paudel as chief assistant director, Shyam Tamang as cinematographer, and Suman Kafle as production manager. The story is written by Umesh Kumar Basnet.
Producers include Savitri Chiluwal, Ashik Basnet, Adarsha Basnet, Nirmala Basnet, and Sarita Puri Giri.
