First-Look Poster of Madhes-Centric Film ‘Pratibairam’ Unveiled

Kathmandu — The first-look poster of the Nepali film ‘Pratibairam’, directed by Roshan Das, has been unveiled. Centered on social and political issues of the Madhes region, the poster offers a glimpse into the film’s serious, emotional, and powerful narrative.

The poster uses symbolic elements of fire, pain, and love to convey the depth of the story. Lead actors Samrat Das and Supragya Sharma dominate the visual, presenting themes of struggle, empathy, and rebellion.

Samrat Das appears in a striking and intense avatar, with his expressions, body language, and character design reflecting anger, conflict, and responsibility. According to director Roshan Das, although ‘Pratibairam’ marks Das’s acting debut, the role is expected to be one of the most significant and memorable of his career.

Lead actress Supragya Sharma also stands out in the poster with a deeply emotional presence. The pain, love, and trust reflected in her expression strengthen the human dimension of the story.

The film also stars Birendra Kushwaha, Alisha Bastola, Ronnie Yadav, Bikky Shah, Naveen Shrestha, Geeta Shree, Ashish DK, Pradeep Dhakal, Narayan B.K., Bike Shah, and Ramesh Budhathoki, among others.

The co-directors include Santosh Mall, Agni Subedi, Dhiraj Raut, and Srijana Bhujel. Produced by Rage Entertainment in collaboration with King YT, the film’s production is managed by Kamal Sunar, with line production handled by Pankaj Mahato. Editing has been done by Kabir Wode.

Director Roshan Das said the film aims to realistically portray the stories, culture, and socio-political realities of the Madhes region. The story is written by Das himself, while the screenplay is penned by Yuvraj Bhattarai.

According to the production team, ‘Pratibairam’ is scheduled for release in Jestha 2083 (mid-2026). The multilingual film is made in Nepali, Hindi, Maithili, and Bhojpuri, with digital rights acquired by Yuna Digital.
