Kathmandu – The teaser of the upcoming Nepali film ‘Laalimaa’, slated for release on Falgun 29, has been officially unveiled. The production team released the teaser on Tuesday evening via the OSR YouTube channel.
The teaser features lead actress Roshani Karki in a solo appearance, portraying a character struggling with intense psychological distress inside a room. The visuals hint at the film’s serious and emotionally charged narrative.
The storyline remains largely under wraps, maintaining suspense and intrigue among viewers.
According to writer-director Roshan Miraj, ‘Laalimaa’ is inspired by the real-life experiences of around 3,000 sex workers.
The film also stars Shishir Wangdel, Jeevan Bhattarai, Usha Rajak, and Sushma Niraula in key roles. It is produced by Faith Aastha, with Reena Lama serving as the executive producer.
