Kathmandu – The teaser of the upcoming Nepali film ‘Lalibazar’, produced under the Shatkona Arts banner, has been officially released. The movie is scheduled for a nationwide release on Baisakh 18, 2083, and the teaser has already sparked curiosity among audiences.
Filmed in Rajapur, Bardiya, the teaser introduces the main characters and provides glimpses of the story. The movie features a talented ensemble cast including Swastima Khadka, Ravindrasingh Baniya, Samira Thapa, Mukundkumar Shrestha, Abhay Baral, Asha Paudel, Govind Sunar, Abha Aryal, Tara Sharma, Ramesh Wadi, and Saraswati Adhikari.
The film also marks the acting debut of Vishal Devkota and Prasansha Subedi. The story and direction are by Yam Thapa, while the screenplay and dialogues have been co-written by Thapa and Pradeep Bhattarai. Notably, Swastima Khadka takes on a unique role that has drawn additional attention from viewers.
The technical team includes Creative Director JB Ruwali, Action Director Samrat Basnet, Cinematographer Sushan Prajapati, Editor Mitradev Gurung, and Production Head Rupakpratap Adhikari. Color grading was handled by Renish Fago, VFX by Samir Shrestha and Satyam Rana, background music and mixing by Rohit Shakya and Shailesh Shrestha, art direction by Umesh Chaudhary, costume design and styling by Janaki Kadayat, and makeup by Kavya Thapa. The music has been composed by Prakash Saput, Khem Century, and Jayan J Wave.
