Kathmandu — The official release date and poster of the Nepali feature film Malati Mangale, produced by renowned singer Ram Krishna Dhakal, have been unveiled simultaneously. The film is scheduled for nationwide release on May 8, coinciding with the Nepali New Year period.
The newly released poster highlights the emotional core of the film, portraying lead actors Bijay Baral and Barsha Raut in an intimate, rural setting that suggests a heartfelt love story rooted in social realism.
Directed by Praku Pandey, who also wrote the story, Malati Mangale is described as a family-oriented romantic drama suitable for audiences of all ages. The screenplay and dialogues were penned by Sanyog Guragain.
Produced under the banner of Rani Music International Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Uni Entertainment, the film features Sagar Gyawali as executive producer, with multiple co-producers. Alongside the lead cast, the film includes an ensemble of veteran and emerging actors.
Cinematography is by Mahesh Poudel, editing by Romi Mozes, color grading by Krishna Bhandari, and sound design by Dikesh Khadgi. OSR Digital serves as the digital distributor, while RR Films will handle theatrical distribution.
