Kathmandu — The acclaimed Nepali film Ramita Ko Pirti, one of this year’s most talked-about releases, is set to premiere in cinemas across India. Infinity Event & Entertainment will begin screening the film in the second week of March.
The company confirmed that it partnered with the producers, confident that Indian youth audiences will connect with the story and its presentation. A formal agreement between producer Sagar Lamsal and Infinity has recently been finalized for the Indian release.
Ramita Ko Pirti explores contemporary youth love, separation, and self-reflection in an engaging narrative. In Nepal, during its second week, the film has received inspiring responses from young viewers for its realistic storytelling and the message of self-love.
Representatives from Infinity stated, “The film accurately portrays modern youth relationships, which Indian audiences will also easily relate to. A good film needs to reach as many viewers as possible, and we are committed to making that happen across India.”
Details about the specific cities and cinemas for the Indian release will be announced soon.
Directed by Sudipta, the film stars Anna Sharma in the lead role, alongside Vinay Shrestha, Dhiraj Magar, Samir Shrestha, and Renu Yogi.
Infinity expects that the Indian release will help expand the reach of Nepali cinema beyond national borders.
