Kathmandu: Director Krisha Chaulagai’s upcoming film ‘Paras’ welcomes action star Sushil Shrestha to its cast following Niruta Singh’s prior signing.
The production team had signed Niruta Singh on Wednesday, and within two days, Sushil Shrestha was officially brought on board. Sharing a photo with the actor on social media, Krisha wrote:
“A heartfelt welcome to the talented and charismatic Mr. Sushil Shrestha.”
According to the director, Sushil’s presence will elevate the film’s quality. Actor Nikhil Upreti had already been signed as the male lead, while Jasita Gurung, Priyanka Karki, and Niruta Singh are confirmed as the female leads.
Krisha, known for social-themed ‘Ainchopaecho’ and action film ‘Pitambar’, is aiming to improve upon her previous works and make ‘Paras’ a standout third directorial venture.
The film, a romantic story, features a script by Indian screenwriter Sachin Ladiya, who previously collaborated on the 2012 hit Indian film ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ Parts 1 & 2.
Director Krisha is set to begin filming shortly after the elections.
