Kathmandu — The first-look poster of the upcoming Nepali film Mitjyu, slated for release on May 29 (Jestha 15), has been unveiled, offering a glimpse into a story rooted in rural life and social conflict.

The poster features lead actors Dayahang Rai and Saugat Malla locking arms in a symbolic power struggle in front of a moving jeep set against a hilly backdrop. Teriya Fauja Magar, dressed in traditional attire, sits solemnly on the bonnet, hinting at a central emotional conflict.

Items such as a pig, local poultry, vegetables, a dokō, and a gagri placed on the vehicle suggest themes of migration, family ties, and socio-cultural tension. The imagery builds intrigue about whether the rivalry between the two men revolves around Teriya’s character or a deeper issue.

Directed by Anil Budha Magar, the film marks Teriya Magar’s debut as a lead actress. The ensemble cast also includes Pushkar Gurung, Shishir Wangdel, and Sabin Kattel, among others.

Produced under the GM Movies Production banner and distributed by RR Films, Mitjyu will hit theaters nationwide on May 29, coinciding with Republic Day.
