Film ‘Temke: The Destination’ Holds Inaugural Muhurat Ceremony

On Friday, the inaugural muhurat ceremony of the Nepali narrative film ‘Temke: The Destination’ was held in Kathmandu. Dinesh DC, Chairman of the Film Development Board, formally launched the film by breaking a coconut and performing the ceremonial clap-in.

The film, presented by R.D.S. Nepal, is directed and produced by Devprasad Dhimal. Co-producer Pankaj Sardar, and executive producers Bhola Subedi (Pranap), Rajanajang Thapa, and Jit Sherchan are also on board.

Vijayaraj Bhurtel is attached as co-director, Raju Kirat as action director, and Naresh Ayer will handle cinematography.

The cast includes Shiv Shrestha, Arjun Thapa, Pritika Sharma, Krishnaprasad Dhital, Rina Gurung, Saru Karki, Shridev Bhattarai, Gokul Subedi, Sabitra Chilwal, Srijana Budha, Abhishek Phuyal, Ravina Dulal, and Vivek Khadka.

The main shooting will take place in Kathmandu and Bhojpur, starting from the second week of Chaitra. The film is expected to present stories from Nepali society in an engaging narrative style.

The muhurat ceremony was attended by outgoing Film Artists’ Association president Ravindra Khadka, singer Shankar Adhikari “Ghayal”, and several film industry professionals.
