‘Karki Saila’ Wraps Filming in Just 21 Days

Kathmandu — The filming of director Rajendra Basnet’s upcoming film “Karki Saila” has been completed in a remarkably short time. The production team confirmed that the shoot wrapped up in just 21 days, ahead of schedule.

According to director Basnet, filming began in Dhankuta and continued in areas around Chatara and Barahakshetra in Sunsari. Although a one-month schedule had been planned, the dedication and hard work of the cast and crew allowed the project to finish earlier than expected.

The film stars Jitu Nepal, Priyana Acharya (Munni), Sushil Pokharel, Birendra Singh Kushwaha, Manshi Sharma, Manil Tamang, Renuka Acharya, Dipson Limbu, Roda Rai, Kamal Devkota, among others.

This film marks the first on-screen collaboration between Jitu Nepal and Priyana Acharya. Priyana previously appeared in “Jharipachhiko Indreni.”

Produced by Balkumar Rai and presented by Krishna Bhagat Chamling, the film is being made under the banner of Karnabahadur Films Pvt. Ltd. Rozal Thapa serves as the chief assistant director, while cinematography is handled by Dambar Rai.

The film features action direction by Kiran Dahal and music by Dipson Limbu, with CB Bhandari overseeing production.

The release date of the film has not been announced yet.
