Kathmandu – Nepali singer Memisa Ghale, who has been based in the UK for many years, has released her new Kauda song ‘Nidari’. The track features vocals by Memisa Ghale, Mosam Gurung, and DR Sujan, with lyrics and music composed by DR Sujan. The song is produced by Dhan Ghale, Memisa’s husband.
Despite living in the UK for over 25 years, the couple continues to actively contribute to Nepali music. They announced the release of the song during their visit to Nepal.
The music video features actor Pal Shah and model Rasmita Tamang, with choreography and direction by Bikram Chauhan, cinematography by Navaraj Upreti, and editing by Manoj Karki. Memisa Ghale noted that the production involved significantly more effort and investment than her previous works.
According to DR Sujan, the idea for the song originated in the UK. The song aims to showcase the culture and identity of the Ghale community, featuring visuals from over ten districts. Producer Dhan Ghale stated that the audio and video production cost nearly NPR 1 million. The song is now available on Memisa Ghale’s YouTube channel.
