Kathmandu: The Nepali film “Batulo June”, produced under Sunrise Pictures Pvt. Ltd., has officially announced its release date.
The announcement was made on actor Anmol KC’s birthday, revealing that the film will hit theaters during Dashain 2083, on Phulpati (October 16).
The poster features Anmol KC alongside actress Princee Khatiwada, set against a full moon backdrop. The visual hints at a romantic narrative with symbolic elements.
Anmol shared the poster as a birthday gift to fans, expressing gratitude for their continued support and stating he remains open to both appreciation and constructive criticism.
The film, set in a rural backdrop, is produced by Jiya KC and Bhavishya Khadka, and directed by Bhuwan KC, who also plays a major role.
The cast includes Nancy Khadka, Prakash Ghimire, Rear Rai, Deepak KC, Shweta Mishra, Laxmi Giri, and others.
Filming has taken place in Kathmandu, Myagdi, Nuwakot, Chitlang, and Pokhara, with about 10% of the shoot remaining. The final schedule is expected to be completed around the Nepali New Year 2083.
