Kathmandu. The first song from the upcoming film Ek Muthhi Baadal, scheduled for release on Jestha 1, has been released. The song “Rail Ghumyo Ghumtima” features the film’s lead cast.
The music video features Aanchal Sharma, Nisha Sharma, Usha Rajak, and Sahayog Adhikari. The video portrays pre-wedding celebrations and highlights emotional experiences of three generations of women in a household.
The song is composed by Sumit Pathak, with vocals by Meena Pokharel and Indrakala Rai, and lyrics by Harka Saud. Sumit, the runner-up of Nepal Idol Season 2, is making his debut in film music through this project.
Director Sahara Sharma stated that the song reflects the core essence of the film and was developed in collaboration with lyricist Harka Saud to represent the story’s emotional depth.
The video is directed by Pratik Gurung, with choreography by Kritika Baral, cinematography by Nihal Bhandari, and editing and color grading by Krishna Bhandari.
The film features an ensemble cast including Bhima Mainali, Asmita Gautam, Shekhar Chapagai, Manish Niraula, Gaurav Bist, and Aviral Pratap Adhikari.
Written and directed by Sahara Sharma, the film is produced by Abhimanyu Dixit, with Nikun Shrestha as executive producer. The international production team includes German producer Sarah Fazilat, Samipya Raj Timsina, and Anup Paudel.
The film is jointly produced by Gaunthali Entertainment and Man Production, and distributed in Nepal by RR Films.
