The second song from the Nepali film ‘Lalibazar’, titled ‘Mitho Sansar’, has been released. The lyrical video features selected scenes from the film, highlighting its emotional storyline.
The song is voiced by Samikshya Adhikari along with Diliza Ruwaali, Alisha Sharma, and Purnima Tamang, with chorus vocals by Guras Thakuri and Gayatri Rana Magar. Lyrics and composition are by Jayan J Waiba.
Following the massive success of the first song ‘Mayalai Ke Diun Ma Baina’, which surpassed 10 million YouTube views, the production team released the second track and celebrated the milestone with a cake-cutting ceremony.
The new song features lead actors Swastima Khadka, Prashansa Subedi, and child artist Samaira Thapa.
Director Yam Thapa said the song is closely tied to the film’s core narrative, portraying the emotional bond between a mother and daughter, along with the struggles of upbringing.
The film is scheduled for release on May 1, 2026 (Baisakh 18, 2083 BS). Shot in Rajapur, Bardiya, ‘Lalibazar’ features a large ensemble cast.
The screenplay and dialogues are jointly written by Yam Thapa and Pradeep Bhattarai. The film is produced by Max Dipesh Khatri and Rabindra Singh Baniya, with Pradeep Bhattarai serving as executive producer.
