Film ‘Kumbh’ Set for Release on May 28; Action–Romance to Release in Nepali and Hindi

Kathmandu — The Nepali film ‘Kumbh’, written and directed by Randhir Shrestha, is scheduled to release nationwide on May 28 (Jestha 15).

The director, known for his work in music videos and cinematography, brings an action–romance storyline with this project.

Produced under the banner of A Ras Production, the film will be released in both Nepali and Hindi languages. It also features South Indian actor Surendra Thakur.

The film stars debutant Ashok Aryan, along with veteran actors Sunil Thapa and Sushil Pokharel, as well as Rohit Rumba, Afsana Thapa, and Srishti Khadka in key roles.

Filming was carried out across Nepal and South India, featuring several South Indian artists as well.

Cinematography is handled by director Randhir Shrestha himself, while action direction is by Sanjay Thapa. The film is produced by Randhir Shrestha and Rajesh Sah.

The first song from the film will be released this Friday, marking the beginning of its promotional campaign.
