Kathmandu —Binod Poudel, the producer of the hit film Purna Bahadur Ko Sarangi, is set to make his directorial debut with a new project titled Dui Kinara. The film was officially announced on the occasion of the New Year.
The title poster visually highlights two contrasting landscapes of hills—one lush and green, the other barren and desolate—connected by a narrow winding path. The imagery symbolically represents the dualities of life, particularly happiness and sorrow.
According to the makers, the film will explore how small decisions can lead to significant consequences in life. The release has been scheduled for Baisakh 1, 2084.
Following the massive success of Purna Bahadur Ko Sarangi, Poudel has also been involved in projects like Abhimanyu and Roll No. 1. With Dui Kinara, he now steps into direction, marking a new phase in his filmmaking career.
Details regarding the cast, storyline, and technical team are yet to be revealed.
