Kathmandu — Popular TV duo Kumar Kattel (Jigree Bro) and Dipak Prasad Acharya (Kaku) are set to reunite for a new film titled Chiranjibi Bhava. The project was officially announced on the occasion of the Nepali New Year 2083.
The film is currently in its final scripting stage, with plans to begin shooting within the next one to two months. According to the creators, the story will explore the relationship between two generations, highlighting what has been lost, retained, and what truly matters today.
Kaku will direct the film, while Jigree Bro is working on the script. This marks the second directorial venture for both. Kaku’s previous film Paran became the highest-grossing film of 2082, while Jigree Bro’s Laj Sharanam also performed well commercially.
The film will fall under the social drama genre. The cast and producer are yet to be finalized, with the team aiming to select actors who best fit the script.
The duo, known for their long-standing collaboration in hit TV shows like Sakkigoni and Bhadragol, are coming together again on the big screen after years of working together in television.
