Actor Anmol KC has been officially confirmed to return in the sequel of the 2082 blockbuster ‘Jerry On Top’. According to production sources, a written agreement was signed between Anmol and the producers on Wednesday morning.
The upcoming film has been titled ‘Jerry: The Last Climb’.
Apart from Anmol, no other cast members have been finalized yet. Sources say it remains uncertain whether Aanchal Sharma and Jasita Gurung will reprise their roles.
The film will be directed by Sujoy Gurung, while the screenplay is being written by Brajesh Khanal. Khanal recently shared behind-the-scenes photos hinting at a new collaboration.
He wrote, “A new collaboration between uncle and nephew for another film is underway. Detailed information will be shared by the production team in due time. We believe this film, started in the new year, will set new benchmarks of success.”
According to the production team, the script will be completed within the next two to three months. Anmol is currently busy filming ‘Batulo Jun’. After wrapping on 22 Baisakh, he is expected to work on the next ‘A Mero Hajur’ sequel.
Only after that will work on the ‘Jerry’ franchise proceed further. Notably, ‘Jerry On Top’ remains the highest-grossing film of Anmol KC’s career.
