Prakash Saput Delivers Powerful Performance in ‘Paral Ko Aago’ Set for Nationwide Release

Kathmandu — Multi-talented artist Prakash Saput is set to appear in a powerful new role in the upcoming Nepali film Paral Ko Aago.

Known for his performances in Pradeshi 2, Purna Bahadurko Sarangi and Maitighar, Saput plays the character “Chhame” in this adaptation of a classic Nepali literary work.

The film is based on a story from Naso by legendary writer Gurupasad Mainali, making it a culturally significant cinematic adaptation.

Saput’s performance in the trailer has already drawn attention, particularly for emotionally intense scenes involving marital dynamics and rural life struggles. He credited co-star Suhana Thapa for helping him navigate a challenging sequence during filming.

Directed by Laxman Sunar, the film features an ensemble cast including Saugat Malla, Suhana Thapa, and others.

Produced under Hari Om Cine Makers Pvt. Ltd., the film includes music contributions from Shanti Thatal, Satya–Swaroop Aacharya, and Saput himself. It will be distributed nationwide by RR Films, with digital rights handled by OSR Digital.

The film is set for release this Friday and is being closely watched for its literary adaptation and strong performances.
