Kathmandu — The teaser of the action-drama film Kumbh, starring debut actor Ashok Aryan, has been released. The film is scheduled for nationwide release on May 29.
Following the teaser launch, excitement around the film has increased among audiences. The teaser highlights a dark, intense, and action-driven tone, supported by strong background music, striking cinematography, and powerful character portrayals, suggesting a large-scale production.
The film features Sunil Thapa, Sushil Pokharel, Rohit Rumba, Srishti Khadka, Afsana Thapa and others in key roles. South Indian actor Surendra Thakur also appears in the film.
Written and directed by Randhir Shrestha, the film also features music composed by Anup Tiwari. Produced under A Rass Production, the film will be released in both Nepali and Hindi languages. It was shot across various locations in Nepal and South India.
Earlier, the song Swargaki Pari had already gained attention, featuring vocals by Anju Panta and Anup Tiwari. The on-screen chemistry between Ashok Aryan and Srishti Khadka in the music video also attracted audience interest.
Cinematography and editing are handled by director Randhir Shrestha himself, while action direction is by Sanjay Thapa. The film is produced by Shrestha and Rajesh Sah, with Ishwar Ballabh Upreti serving as executive producer. The teaser was released via the official YouTube channel of RAA Digital Nepal.
