Kathmandu — Popular Nepali comedy reality show Comedy Night With Champions has officially launched its second season following the success of its debut season.
The production team announced that the ongoing 54th episode marks the beginning of “Chapter 2,” effectively continuing the show without any break due to overwhelming audience demand.
Director and host Bishal Bhandari said the team decided to continue the show seamlessly to maintain regular entertainment for viewers.
The first episode of the new season featured the cast and crew of the upcoming Nepali film Malati Mangale as special guests. Attendees included Barsha Raut, Bijay Baral, Meksam Gaudel, Ram Krishna Dhakal, Praku Pandey, Sagar Gnyawali and Ritika Shrestha.
Comedians Pawan Bhattarai, Prabhat Lama, Karmasingh Lama, Bharatmani Poudel, Kailash Karki and Suman Koirala delivered performances that received strong audience response.
One of the episode’s highlights featured Pawan Bhattarai performing as the famous “BK” character from the film Kabaddi in front of actor Bijay Baral himself, drawing laughter from both the audience and the actor.
The “Sudan-Sushila” duo performed by Prabhat Lama and Karma Lama has also gone viral on social media. Roast performances targeting fellow guest Meksam Gaudel by Bharatmani Poudel and Suman Koirala became another standout moment of the show.
