Kathmandu. A new Nepali film titled Akshara will be directed by Binayaraj Paudel. The production team unveiled the film’s title along with a theme poster on Tuesday.
The poster features a woman walking alone in the early morning carrying a backpack. The visual suggests a serious and mysterious tone, hinting that the film may be female-centric. The release of the poster has already sparked curiosity among audiences.
Produced under Kshit Babu Production House, the film is scheduled to begin shooting from Baisakh 27. However, the cast has not yet been revealed, with the team deliberately keeping it secret to maintain audience interest.
The film is presented by Rajan Dulal and produced by Ugrasen Dhungana and Suraj Thapa.
The story is written by producer Dhungana himself, while the screenplay is written by Abhimanyu Niravi.
Akshara marks the directorial debut of Paudel. He has previously worked as a chief assistant director in numerous Nepali films.
After years of experience in the industry, he is now stepping into full-fledged direction with this project.
