Kathmandu. The Nepali film Ba: A Warrior has officially announced its release date. The film will hit cinemas nationwide on Bhadra 19.

The production team said the release has been scheduled ahead of Kushe Aunsi (Father’s Day), a day dedicated to fathers in Nepal.

The film marks the directorial debut of Hari Lamsal, a well-known figure in Nepal’s music industry who has composed several hit songs.

Lamsal has also written the story and screenplay of the film himself.

The film stars Jharana Thapa, Suhaana Thapa, and Divyadev Panta in lead roles.

Notably, Jharana and Suhana, who are real-life mother and daughter, will also portray the same relationship on screen for the first time.

Produced under Artistic Entertainment, the film is produced by Basant Lamsal.

The story focuses on the emotional role of fathers in Nepali society, portraying their sacrifices, struggles, and responsibilities as that of a “warrior.”

Cinematography is handled by Shivaram Shrestha, known for films such as Purna Bahadurko Sarangi, Boksi Ko Ghar, and Paran.

Tara Nath Neupane serves as the chief assistant director.

The production team says the film will deliver an emotional social drama blending storytelling and entertainment, focusing on father–child relationships across Nepali society.
