Nepali film Paralko Aago has collected a strong box office total within 9 days of its release. The film, released on Baisakh 11, has earned a gross collection of NPR 3 crore 12 lakh 17 thousand 93 (as per reported figures) up to Saturday.
According to official data, the film has sold 1,10,442 tickets during this period, generating the total revenue.
The film, which was reportedly made on a budget of around NPR 2 crore, is generally expected to require at least NPR 5 crore in gross earnings from domestic theatrical release to recover its investment.
Producer Sushil Pokharel has stated that the film has already recovered its investment through digital rights, brand partnerships, and overseas distribution, and has also generated some profit.
Paralko Aago is directed by Laxman Sunar. The film features lead performances by Suhana Thapa, Prakash Saput, Saroj Khanal, and Srijana Adhikari.
