Kathmandu — A new romantic and emotional song titled Muya Rani has been officially released. Written by lyricist Kamal Sharma Acharya, the song was unveiled at a special event held at Hotel Kaveri Inn in Kathmandu.
Senior artist Madan Krishna Shrestha attended the event as the chief guest. Special guests included music composer Raju Singh, Chairperson of the Lyricists Association Nepal Basant Bittasi Thapa, lyricist Ananda Adhikari, government secretary Ashok Kshetri, former AIG Shyam Gyawali, and singer-composer Resham Sapkota, among many other distinguished guests.
The song portrays the emotional turbulence, longing, and deep affection felt when lovers are separated. It carries a strong message that true love should never break apart and emphasizes that the world itself exists because of love.
Vocals are performed by Ramchandra Kafle and Dipika Bayambu Magar. The lyrics are written by Kamal Sharma Acharya, while the music is composed by Rishi Khadka.
Lyricist Kamal Sharma Acharya has previously released several songs. He launched Muya Rani on the occasion of his wife’s birthday.
The music video features performances by Suresh Kohli and Ashwini Shahi. Production management was handled by Dipen Gautam, with assistance direction by Shailesh Khatri.
Choreography was done by Poonam Shrestha, cinematography by Utsav Dahal, and editing by Vikas Dahal. The video is directed by Elish Khanal.
Guests praised the music video, which was shot in Panauti, Kavrepalanchok district.
The song Muya Rani has been released through the official OSR Digital YouTube channel.
