In a move never seen before, the team of the upcoming movie ‘Roll No. 1’ has bypassed traditional red carpets to land directly in student classrooms. Leading stars Mukun Bhusal and Renu Yogi, alongside musician Prashant Siwakoti, have stormed schools in Eastern Nepal (Jhapa, Morang, and Sunsari) to hear the “untold heartbeats” of students.
With the provocative slogan, “We are coming to your classroom to hear your heart,” the film aims to expose the dark side of the current education system and its damaging impact on child psychology.
Producer Binod Poudel promises that this isn’t just a movie; it’s a reality check for every parent and teacher. Directed by Jone Yonjan and written by Mahesh Dawadi, the cinematic revolution is set to release simultaneously in Nepal and internationally on Jestha 15 (Republic Day). Get ready, because the students’ story is finally taking over the big screen!
