The Lalibazar film has received clearance for public screening after the Supreme Court dismissed a petition filed by Roshani Wadi seeking to halt its release.
Upholding the earlier decision of the High Court, the joint bench of Justices Mahesh Sharma Poudel and Sunil Kumar Pokharel ruled that there would be no restriction on the film’s exhibition.
According to advocate Tara Kumar Shrestha, who represented the film’s side in court, Lalibazar can now be screened nationwide without legal obstruction.
