Filmmaker Manoj Pandit has been appointed as a member of the Central Film Examination Committee (Censor Board) through a ministerial decision, according to Uday Bahadur Ranamagar, spokesperson for the Ministry of Information and Communication.
The appointment comes after three previously appointed members were removed following a recent ordinance introduced by the government. Manoj Pandit has been selected to fill one of the vacant positions, while preparations are underway to appoint the remaining two members.
Pandit is scheduled to collect his appointment letter from the ministry today.
