The upcoming Nepali film ‘Ba: Ek Yoddha’ has officially partnered with Kuber Cine Distribution for nationwide distribution.
A formal agreement was signed on Tuesday between producer Basant Lamsal and the distribution company. Representatives Ashish H. Tamang and Pradeep Dhami signed on behalf of Kuber Cine Distribution.
Written and directed by renowned musician Hari Lamsal, the film is scheduled for release on Bhadra 19, just ahead of Kushe Aunsi — Nepal’s Father’s Day — adding emotional significance to the release timing.
Known for delivering numerous iconic Nepali songs over the years, Hari Lamsal is stepping into feature film direction for the very first time with ‘Ba: Ek Yoddha’. Besides directing, he has also written the story and screenplay himself.
Produced under the banner of Artistic Entertainment, the movie is backed by producer Basant Lamsal, who previously produced the film ‘Karma’ starring Bipin Karki.
The film stars Jharana Thapa, Suhana Thapa and Divyadev Pant in lead roles.
According to the makers, ‘Ba: Ek Yoddha’ will portray the emotional reality of Nepali society by highlighting the sacrifices, struggles and lifelong hardships a father endures for the future of his children.
The cinematography is handled by Shivaram Shrestha, while Taranath Neupane serves as the chief assistant director.
