Kathmandu, May 21: The teaser of the film ‘Kamala Miss,’ directed by veteran actor and filmmaker Nir Shah, has been officially released. Based on a psychological narrative, the teaser has generated curiosity and anticipation among audiences.
Inspired by renowned playwright and literary figure Vijay Malla’s famous drama ‘Kohi Kina Barbad Hos,’ the teaser centers around lead actress Basana Timilsina. It effectively portrays mystery, psychological tension, and emotional depth.
Returning to direction after nearly a decade, Nir Shah aims to present a unique storytelling style through this film. He has previously directed acclaimed films such as ‘Basudev,’ ‘Pachhis Basanta,’ ‘Rajmati,’ ‘Basanti,’ ‘Masan,’ and ‘Setobagh.’
The film also features performances by Ramesh Budhathoki, Shivam Saraf Kshetri, Aarav Dahal, Bhavana Magar, Sushant Kumar Shrestha, Jayanta Regmi, Suresh Thapa, Rajan KC, and Sanjay Khatiwada among others.
Produced by the Vijay Malla family on behalf of the Vijay Malla Memorial Foundation, the film’s executive producers include Umesh Malla, Chaitanya Pradhan, Ramesh Babu Shrestha, and Ram Bhattarai. Pushkar Lama serves as the line producer.
The story is written by Vijay Malla, while the screenplay and dialogues have been jointly prepared by Nir Shah, Prajal Dulal, and Sugam Dulal.
The film features cinematography by Shivaram Shrestha, music by Yug Bhusal, and choreography by Ramji Lamichhane. Production management has been handled by Bhola Subedi, while Sagar Bohara is the chief assistant director.
‘Kamala Miss’ is scheduled for release from Shrawan 22. Distribution rights have been handled by Apple Entertainment, Reach Entertainment, and FD Company.
