‘Malati Mangale’ Australia Distribution Rights Sold to Mount Pumori Events

Kathmandu – Following its successful theatrical run in Nepal and positive response from international audiences, the Australia distribution rights of the Nepali film Malati Mangale have been officially sold.

According to the production team, the film’s Australian screening and distribution rights have been acquired by Mount Pumori Events. After receiving strong reviews and audience appreciation in Nepal, Malati Mangale is currently being screened in several countries, including the United States and Canada.

The growing interest among the Nepali diaspora has generated significant excitement for the film’s upcoming release in Australia. The latest deal is expected to further strengthen the film’s international presence and expand its overseas reach.

Produced under the banner of Rani Films in collaboration with Uni Entertainment, Malati Mangale is directed by Praku Pandey. The story has been written by Pandey himself, while Sanyog Guragain collaborated on the screenplay and dialogues.

The film stars Bijay, Barsha, and Meksam in lead roles, alongside Prakash Ghimire, Sarita Giri, Narin Thapa, Mansu Sapkota, Sushma Niraula, and Sunil Tamang in supporting performances.

Sagar Gyawali serves as the executive producer, while Babu Subedi, Robin Shrestha, Bedana Karmacharya, Padmavati Gurung, Swikriti Basnet, and Milan Bajgain are associated with the project as co-producers.

The film has also been praised for its technical excellence. Mahesh Paudel handled cinematography, Romi Moses oversaw editing, and Krishna Bhandari was responsible for color grading. The background score was composed by Sujil Karmacharya, while sound mixing was carried out by Dikesh Khadgi.

With its Australian distribution rights now secured, Malati Mangale continues to expand its international journey and strengthen its connection with Nepali audiences around the world.
