KATHMANDU — The promotional campaign for the upcoming Nepali film ‘Jhinge Daau 2’, set to release on Ashoj 2, has officially begun with the release of three new posters.
The production team stated that promotions will now be intensified, with songs and a trailer scheduled for release soon.
The film is directed by Gyanendra Deuja and produced by Sulaabh Pratik, Pratik Deuja, and Samiksha Deuja.
The cast includes Keki Adhikari, Anchal Sharma, Mahesh Tripathi, Aryan Sigdel, Kushal Bista, Hiuwala Gautam, Saroj Khanal, Basundhara Bhusal, Chaitya Devi Singh, and others, with guest appearances by Madan Krishna Shrestha and Mithila Sharma.
In one of the posters, Keki Adhikari and Anchal Sharma appear in cheerful moods, while another shows Hiuwala Gautam, Mahesh Tripathi, and Kushal Bista in emotional expressions.
A third poster highlights the festive spirit of Dashain, featuring the main characters in celebration mode, suggesting the festival plays a key role in the storyline.
Another visual featuring Aryan Sigdel shows him appearing to stop or intervene as the main characters react in surprise.
The screenplay and dialogues are written by Parichhed Sen, Govinda Phuyal, and Shishir Chalise. Cinematography is handled by Bibek Basnet and Ishwar Sinkemana.
Produced under Kapan Gadhi Cinema Pvt. Ltd. and Film Crew Nepal Pvt. Ltd., the film features editing by Mitra D. Gurung, music by Arjun Pokharel, choreography by Ramji Lamichhane, and action direction by Roshan Shrestha.
A sequel to the commercially successful ‘Jhinge Daau’, released three years ago, the film has generated strong audience anticipation, according to the makers.
