‘Lajjawati’ Character Posters Released, Offering a Glimpse of Love, Family and Emotional Conflict

Kathmandu: The makers of the upcoming Nepali film ‘Lajjawati’, scheduled for release on August 13 (Shrawan 29), have unveiled five character posters, introducing the film’s key characters and hinting at its emotional storyline.

The newly released posters showcase the lead cast in distinct looks, highlighting themes of love, family, relationships, personal struggles, and rural life that appear to shape the film’s narrative.

One poster features Mukun Bhusal and Januka Bishwakarma in a romantic pose, suggesting that a love story plays a central role in the film. Another shows Shreekrishna Niraula playfully sitting on Mukun Bhusal’s shoulders, alongside Januka Bishwakarma and Menuka Majhi, hinting at a blend of family dynamics, humor, and emotional moments.

A separate character poster presents Mukun Bhusal, Shreekrishna Niraula, and Menuka Majhi with serious expressions against a backdrop combining rural and urban settings, indicating that the story unfolds across diverse social environments.

According to the production team, Lajjawati explores themes of love, family bonds, relationships, and broader social issues. The newly released posters are intended to reflect these core elements of the film.

Produced under the banner of Aaha Films Pvt. Ltd., the film is written and directed by Raj Bahadur Sane. The cast includes Mukun Bhusal, Januka Bishwakarma, Shreekrishna Niraula, Menuka Majhi, Dhiren Shakya, Hiunwala Gautam, Dipak Thapa, and Binod Shrestha.

Presented by Saurabh Wali, the film is produced by Kamal Prasad Sharma and Sandip Kumar Rokaya, with Dinesh Budhathoki serving as executive producer. Divya Raj Subedi is the cinematographer, Tara Thapa ‘Kimbhe’ handles editing, Dev Maharjan is the action director, and Kuber Cine Distribution will distribute the film nationwide.
