Bipin Karki Joins ‘Man Binako Dhan 2,’ to Share Screen with Pooja Sharma for the First Time
Kathmandu: Acclaimed Nepali actor Bipin Karki has officially joined the cast of the upcoming film “Man Binako Dhan 2,” adding further star power to the sequel ahead of production.
While the filmmakers have confirmed Karki’s involvement, details about his character have not yet been disclosed.
Produced under the banner of Tank Budhathoki Production, the film is written and directed by Tank Budhathoki, with the screenplay and dialogues penned by Shivam Adhikari. The production team is currently busy with pre-production work.
The cast already includes Pooja Sharma, Mahesh Tripathi, Saroj Khanal, and Kiran KC.
The film will mark the first on-screen collaboration between Bipin Karki and Pooja Sharma, making their pairing one of the project’s major highlights.
Based on a social theme, the film has generated increased anticipation following Karki’s addition. Director Tank Budhathoki said discussions with the actor had been ongoing for several weeks and that Karki was immediately drawn to the story.
“We had been in talks with Bipin Ji for several weeks. He was genuinely excited by the script, and audiences will get to see him in a completely new avatar,” Budhathoki said.
The first installment, “Man Binako Dhan,” released last year, earned approximately NPR 40 million in gross box office revenue. Encouraged by its commercial success, the production team says the sequel will feature a stronger story, a bigger scale and an even more compelling cinematic experience.
