Kathmandu: A new Nepali comedy film, ‘Teen Tighre Kya Bigre’, has been officially announced under the Raghuji Films banner. The announcement was made during a special event held at Madrix Restaurant in Divyashwori Town Planning, Kathmandu.
The event was attended by the film’s cast and crew, along with several prominent figures from Nepal’s film industry. Among those extending their best wishes were Nepal Film Artists Association President Uttam KC, Film Directors Society of Nepal President Arunkumar Pradhan, filmmaker Milan Chams, and Chandranagar Rural Municipality Chairperson Rajkumar Mahato.
Written and directed by Amardeep Sapkota, the film is scheduled to begin principal photography later this week. It is produced by Raghunath Sapkota, who also announced that other projects previously unveiled under the Raghuji Films banner will move into production following this film.
The soundtrack will be composed by popular singer Pashupati Sharma, while Sankal Bhujel will serve as cinematographer. Niraj Nepal is the executive producer, with Shamsher Lama handling makeup and Jeevan Pokharel overseeing costume design.
The ensemble cast includes Pashupati Sharma, Paritoshika Pant, Samiya Karki, Prabhat Lama, Prithviraj Prasain, Naresh Poudel, Srijana Koirala, Prajal Dulal, Gautam Mahat, Niraj Nepal, Lekhant Bhusal, Birbal Ghale, Uttam KC, Sunil Katuwal, Nishan Thapa, Rabin Bimali, Narayan BK, Renu Gurung, Binod KC, Suresh Timilsina, and Raju Timilsina.
Director Amardeep Sapkota said the film is designed as a complete family comedy, blending humor and satire to deliver an entertaining cinematic experience.
RR Films has acquired the nationwide theatrical distribution rights, while OSR Digital has secured the film’s digital streaming rights.
