The trailer for the upcoming horror family drama film Mummy, set to release on Magh 25 (February 8), has been unveiled.
The 1 minute and 57 seconds long trailer showcases the film’s lead actors, Priyanka Karki and Sulakshan Bharti, facing eerie incidents, encounters with ghostly figures, and supernatural characters in a spine-chilling manner.
The trailer, released on Tuesday, provides insight into the movie’s storyline. The film gives special prominence to a black cat, which adds an element of curiosity among the audience. Along with Priyanka Karki and Sulakshan Bharti, the movie features Diya Maskey, Samip Neupane, Ghanshyam Joshi, Ayushi Dhakal, Jebis Shrestha, Guran Dhakal, and Geet Bisht, among others.
Mummy is presented by So Twenty-Five and is written by Samar Nirola and Purnima Joshi, with Samar Nirola also directing the film. This marks Samar’s directorial debut. The producers of the film are Lok Raj Joshi and Purnima Joshi, while Suman Koirala serves as the executive producer.
The cinematography is jointly done by Nishal Poudel and Sharad Mahato, with editing by Suren Maharjan. The background score is composed by Rohit Shakya, sound design by Shrabal RP, fight direction by NB Maharjan, color grading by Dipesh Chaudhary, and music by SD Yogi.
The film will be distributed by Kafia Films in the Kathmandu Valley and by Kuber Cine Distribution outside the valley.
