Kathmandu – Nepal Kids Idol, a children-focused show, is set to be organized by Jay Media Management. According to the organizers, children aged between 5 to 15 years will be eligible to participate in the show.
Founder of Jay Media, Jay Raj Roy, stated that auditions will be conducted across all districts of Nepal, as well as in Sikkim, Darjeeling, Assam, Dehradun, and other locations in India, to discover outstanding young talents. “We will start auditions from Falgun (February-March). Although we initially planned to hold auditions in the last week of Magh (January-February), we had to postpone due to unfavorable weather conditions,” he said.
The winners of the show will receive cash prizes, with the first-place winner receiving NPR 10 lakh, the second-place winner NPR 5 lakh, the third-place winner NPR 3 lakh, and the fourth-place winner NPR 2 lakh, along with various gifts.
Founder Jay Raj Roy mentioned that the panel of judges will be announced soon. According to him, the show will have 28 episodes and will be broadcast on a national television channel in Nepal.
