Nepmelo Studio has released the first episode of its new show, “Nepmelo Singers on Mic Season 1.”

The first episode features a performance by Sujata Pandey from Butwal. She sings the heartfelt song “Pahilo Maya,” written and composed by Tejprasad Pandey. The first song and Sujata’s voice in the show have generated increased excitement among the audience.

Sujata is accompanied by renowned guitarist Sanjib Baraili on guitar and Ratna Bike on flute. The song, which was mixed and mastered by Prakash Mishra, was recorded at the “Acoustic Nepal” studio.

After nearly six months of study and preparation, Nepmelo has brought “Singers on Mic” to the audience. This is not a reality show. Although it looks like a reality show, it is a real show where the singers must perform their own songs. The concept, where the singer performing the song will be on stage, is introduced in this new show, and there is no competition or prize system.

Although many songs by various singers have become superhits, the audience often remains unaware of who originally performed those songs.

Therefore, Nepmelo’s main objective is to bring the singer who originally performed the song to the stage. Nepmelo is confident that this unique format will provide the audience with plenty of entertainment, knowledge, and enjoyment.

Through this show, the audience will be able to see performances not only by new artists but also by veteran and popular singers of today.

Shortly after the program’s announcement, the production team received around 250 songs. From these, the team selected 24 songs for the first round. Five of these were finalized for presentation. Accordingly, the first performance was given by Sujata Pandey from Butwal.
