Kathmandu – The much-awaited Nepali cinema ‘Actor: Take One’ had its grand premiere on Monday evening at the QFX Cinemas in Bhaktapur. The premiere show, held in a stunningly decorated set, saw an attendance of about seven hundred people.
The premiere drew significant attention with the arrival of the lead actors, Pradeep Khadka and Rajballav Koirala, alongside actresses Anna Sharma and Divya Rai Majhi. As the guests reached the fifth floor of the building, the crowd of journalists and other attendees was overwhelming. Videos from the event are currently going viral on various media and social networks.
The premiere was graced by the presence of prominent figures from the Nepali cinema industry, including artists, members of the film production team, their families, and distinguished personalities from the business sector. This turnout reflected the high anticipation surrounding the cinema.
Scheduled for public release on Magh 16 (Wednesday), coinciding with the Martyrs’ Day, the premiere saw actor Koirala arriving from the USA just two days prior.
The premiere has received positive feedback, with attendees praising the film’s subject, its innovative presentation, and the excellent performances of the actors. Director Rajan Bhusal, who made his directorial debut with this cinema, has received widespread acclaim.
Based on the responses from the premiere, it is believed that ‘Actor: Take One’ will bring a fresh wave in the Nepali cinema industry and has a strong potential to win the audience’s hearts even after its release. The production team expects this cinema to make a unique mark in the Nepali cinema industry and receive strong support from the audience.
The cinema stars Pradeep Khadka, Anna Sharma, Dibya Rai Majhi, Rajballav Koirala, Divya Dev, Srijana Adhikari, Usha Rajak, Sushil Sital, and others in key roles.
The script for the cinema was written by Akash Baral and Rajan Bhusal. ‘Actor: Take One’ is a joint presentation of Adhrut Films and A Moti Films, with Thaman Kumar Bhandari as the producer, Moti Karki as the creative producer, and Anish Bhusal as the co-producer.
